In preparation for class:

• allow two hours after eating
• do not come if physically ill in any way   (extreme headache, sinus infection,   virus,  ect.)
• empty bladder and bowels (if available)
• wear non restrictive clothing (no blue     jeans) and avoid revealing garments   (recommended to dress in layers   especially in winter)
• clean bare feet
• minimize jewelry
• turn off all outside communication   devices
• avoid perfumed cosmetics, detergents,   and heavily scented oils

 

Arrive early to:
• inform instructor of any recent surgeries, injuries, disabilities or changes in health history
• be on your mat for the start of class
• request permission to bring personal accouterments to practice

During class:
• always practice according to your capacity
• never force beyond your edge
• ask for modifications or adaptations when you are unsure
• remain attentive and focused
• always remember the quality of gratitude
• respect time, space and belongings of other students
• respect time, space and knowledge of teacher
• respect the privilege of using equipment

After class:
• if using Ahimsa's equipment, please use provided wipes to clean it
• please return equipment to its original location
• any questions can be answered at a scheduled time and date
• please have personal items gathered so studio can be locked 15 minutes after class ends

Non-compliance can be grounds for dismissal.
